I am not a big fan of cheesecake. Generally speaking, I do not care for the texture of most cheesecakes. However, recently a friend of mine brought a cherry cheesecake to my house and the consistency of it was amazing. Just thought I would share the recipe with you in case you are a cheesecake lover.
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/8 cup dark brown sugar
Mix above ingredients together. Press into a 10 inch springform pan. Bake at 350° for 8 minutes. Allow To cool before filling.
NO BAKE CHEESECAKE
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup lemon juice from concentrate
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1 small container cool whip
mix cream cheese and condensed milk together using your mixer
add remainder of ingredients
pour into graham cracker crust
leave in refrigerator for three hours
Top with your choice of pie filling, cherry, blueberry, strawberry or any flavor of your choice.
